There are breath-taking views of the Indian Ocean from every room, and Dolphins can be seen throughout the year. In the period between June & October there is more activity from the Dolphins and Whales , and the annual Sardine Run on the South Coast attracts many game fish and sea birds which can be viewed from the dining room while enjoying a full English or Continental breakfast.
Dolphin Point is in a quiet area with easy access to Durban, the N2 and N3. There are shark protected swimming beaches nearby( Amanzimtoti main beach 5km) and shops and restaurants(800 m) within easy reach.
Each room has its own entrance, is air-conditioned, has TV with M-Net, a fridge (with refreshments), telephone, tea / coffee tray. All bedrooms are en-suite.

There are two golf courses nearby. Tala game park is only an hour's drive away and Crocworld half an hour. Aliwal Shoal - for scuba diving is also only half an hour South. The Southern Drakensberg mountains are two and a half hours drive from here.
