DescriptionWelcome to The Dune Guesthouse, Set high up on "the Dune" of Umdloti with breath taking views of the Indian Ocean. The large magnificent, indigenous garden is abundant with bird life and is visited by monkeys, mongooses and blue duiker. Relax in the tranquil serenity of the garden or light up a braai, while watching the waves break on the pristine beaches below, alternatively lounge around a protected pool area.Our spacious air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms have private balcony's, DStv, mini bar, safes, hairdryers and hospitality trays. Our large property has ample secure off road parking. The Dragonfly Room is an en-suite room with twin beds with a bath and shower and opens onto a private balcony, which overlooks the garden and has a sea view. Other facilities include DStv, tea/coffee making facilities, bar fridge hairdryer and digital safe. The Butterfly Room is an en-suite room with a queen bed and shower and opens onto a wooden private balcony, which overlooks the garden and has a sea view. Other facilities include DStv, tea/coffee making facilities, bar fridge hairdryer and digital safe. The Shell Room is an en-suite room with twin beds, shower, DStv, tea/coffee making facilities, bar fridge hairdryer and digital safe. The Guinea Fowl Suite is a split-level en-suite room with a queen bed, a shower and corner bath and opens onto a wooden private balcony, which overlooks the garden and has a sea view. This large spacious room is ideal for Honeymooners. Other facilities include DStv, tea/coffee making facilities, bar fridge hairdryer and digital safe. A full English and continental breakfast is served in our glass fronted dinning room overlooking the ocean where dolphins are frequently spotted playing in the waves and whales are sighted. We are thirty minutes from Durban airport and close to great restaurants, golf courses, beaches, Gateway shopping centre, Umhlanga Ridge business offices, sports stadiums and ICC centre, and Sibaya casino. We cater for the corporate clients. For the more adventurous horse riding, dolphin/whale watching, deep-sea fishing and micro lighting can be arranged. We are a two hour drive from big five country.
